Embedded under the crescent moon. Decaying in yesteryears droughts. The win whistles through my ears and dear Luna shines upon my skin. With these brittle hands, I strive for harmony, but have only found pain. I still recall the taste of your lips and the welcoming scent of your hair. We used to smile in the rose garden, beyond the hills. We fell into one another with frivolous chills. With your body swaying in the cold, the wind gust carries you from side to side. Do I dare to continue without you by my side? As I stand under your feet, your name is safe within me, my queen, and my only dream. Vale Amor.

The first 30 seconds of "Revenge by Fire" convinced me to get the whole album! It is a face-melting blend of speed and black metal, reminiscent of Hellripper! KVAEN is a Swedish solo project much like Hellripper but many known guest musicians helped J. Björnfot in his endeavor. Altogether it is really a solid debut album, I loved the melodies and the pace changes in the second half too, ending with a "calm" instrumental one. Well-done!! sachavonkarl74
Joseph Hawker subverts the musical and sociopolitical status quo with a black metal triptych that's as incendiary as it is impressionistic. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 5, 2022
