I’ve dragged myself across this road many times before and this time shall be no different. For I know this is only a memory and an ephemeral presence that will drift on.
The searing lights pierce through my mind
Deafening every notion of peace while I set my heart on the past.
Finding yourself immobile and disrupted during the stages of grief. Every familiar voice begging for your difference.
Let this not be forgotten.
Hold onto this caprice.
The reverence of her call will hold true.
The great and shadowed path to reformation only reveals to those in sorrow.
I am not a man of god, but I would invoke, and weep for a chance with you.
When reality drifts between a daydream and a nightmare, the only thing left to imagine is your trust in finality.
Solely and indefinitely.
I straddle relics to my wrist.
A blistering shiver runs throughout.
Though the sun dresses my skin, I’ve never felt so absolute, and yet barren.
Moments like this are yet to feel new.
Trudging into another spout of darkness,
Maybe this one won’t last as long.
I know they are waiting for me to change
But I still feel this presence, swaying through my mind.
I can not change the past but I can endure what’s to come. I shall return to the spaces in which you left this earth. I’ve had enough of this pain. The final season spent in disdain.
I’ve spent long enough trying to understand.
I need and crave the purpose of it all.
Goodbye to all I’ve known.
This place was never safe and never home.
I will go beyond the veiled attempts.
Discovering what is after human sorrow.

Guitars sound like flaming lava, riffs melting into one another while moving slowly across everything and destroying everything - the plaintive and bruised cries for help over it all add a weight that sinks you beneath the earth. The sound is as clear as the soul is dark. Jono Schneider
Joseph Hawker subverts the musical and sociopolitical status quo with a black metal triptych that's as incendiary as it is impressionistic. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 5, 2022
《 So many questions 》
— "Rest", Inevitable. NONE.
L'incertitude, l'angoisse... Jordan Vauvert
